What sort of goals do you think athletes have? Some want to win, others want to do a Personal Best where as for other athletes, the most important thing is not winning but just taking part.
Every four years the Special Olympics World Games take place. They are like the Olympics for people with learning disabilities.
For the 7,000 athletes from around the world who take part, it is an opportunity to achieve their goals, make new friends and increase their confidence.
It is also similar to the Olympics because the athletes have different levels of ability - just like when you play sport with your friends or family.
Every athlete has their own target for the Special Olympics.
Here is the story of the 2011 event through the eyes of the athletes and coaches.
