Christie win gold in South Korea as part of the GB relay team

Team GB short track speed skater Elise Christie boosted her 2010 Winter Olympics hopes with a silver at the European Championships in Germany.

Christie took second behind Arianna Fontana of Italy in the 1500m, with Evgenia Radanova of Bulgaria in third.

The 19-year-old from Nottingham came sixth in the 1500m at last year's European Championships.

She was part of the GB women's relay team who won gold at the World Championships in South Korea 2008.
