Phillips has been forced to miss the last two Olympic Games |
Zara Phillips will make her return to competition on her horse Toytown at the Badminton Horse Trials in May. Eventing world champion Phillips was forced to miss last year's Olympics after Toytown suffered an injury. Phillips, who has no reserve horse of the same calibre, was forced out of the Athens Games for the same reason. Four members of the GB Olympic bronze medal-winning team - Mary King, William Fox-Pitt, Daisy Dick and Sharon Hunt - will also compete at Badminton. And they will be joined by double Olympic champion Mark Todd, returning after a nine-year absence to the event, which is televised on the BBC from 7-10 May.
