 Ciara Mageean has won an Ulster All Star for camogie |
Irish indoor 800 metres champion Ciara Mageean has been named in the annual Ulster Colleges' All Star camogie team. The final trial for the All Stars was held just two days after World Youth silver medallist Mageean smashed the Irish Junior record for 800m. Ciara, from the Assumption school in Ballynahinch, equals the achievement of older sister Maire who made the cut for the provincial Colleges side in 2008. Ulster Senior champions St Patrick's Maghera picked up five awards.
