Cushendall edged Ballygalget 1-14 to 1-13 to win the Ulster Club Hurling Final at Casement Park on Sunday. The Antrim men led 1-8 to 0-8 at the interval with the goal coming from Conor McCambridge who turned and shot past Graham Clarke after 16 minutes. Paddy Coulter scored Down's goal in the second half while Martin Coulter contributed 10 points from frees. One player from each side was sent-off but Cushendall edged home by a point to avenge their final defeat in 2005. Ballygalget's Stephen Johnston and Brian Delargy of Cushendall were the men dismissed near the end of the game.
