Paddy Bradley had an eventful afternoon at Maghera |
Derry qualified for the Gaelic Life McKenna Cup semi-finals by beating Fermanagh 0-13 to 0-8 on Sunday. Two Paddy Bradley points helped Derry lead 0-5 to 0-3 but the Allstar then had a penalty saved by Ronan Gallagher.
Fermanagh levelled (0-5 to 0-5) by half-time but Derry hit the opening three points of the second half.
Bradley completed a four-point tally while Raymond Wilkinson (3) and Colin Devlin (2) were also on target. Matthew Keenan hit four Fermanagh points.
Ciaran Mullan (2), Ryan Kealey and James Conway also registered Derry scores at Maghera while Ronan McCabe, Martin McGrath, Ciaran Leonard and Mark Little were on target for the Erne County.
The win means Derry top Group A while Fermanagh must wait to see whether their four-point haul and scoring difference will be enough to earn them a semi-final place.
