Diarmuid Marsden insists he will not be returning for Armagh |
Armagh attacker Diarmuid Marsden has quit inter-county football for the second time. Marsden came out of retirement last season to help out in an injury crisis.
He is the second Armagh star to announce his retirement in recent weeks after All-Ireland winning captain Kieran McGeeney also called it a day.
However, Orchard veterans Paul McGrane, Enda McNulty and Oisin McConville have all confirmed they will be involved again in 2008.
Marsden won an All-Ireland medal in 2002, and also holds four Ulster Championship medals and an Allstar award.
McGeeney has since been appointed as Kildare manager.
