Jordan undergoes hernia surgery
Philip Jordan
Philip Jordan had surgery in Munich
Tyrone half-back Philip Jordan has undergone surgery on a hernia problem in Germany and he hopes to back to full fitness within six weeks.

Jordan's Tyrone team-mate Joe McMahon also underwent surgery at the same Munich hospital last month.

Doctors at the hospital says that players can return to training within 10 days of undergoing the procedure.

McMahon returned to training within that timeframe and Jordan will be hoping for a similar outcome.

Surgeons who perform the revolutionary surgery are able to get deeper into the groin-stomach area to repair the damage.
