Rory Gallagher looks set to become a Cavan player before the end of the month. County secretary Liam McCabe confirmed a transfer request had been submitted by the Fermanagh forward who is currently living and working in Cavan. "We are working on it at the moment and hoping to dot the i's and cross the t's," McCabe told the Irish Independent. Gallagher was a key member of the Erne county squad in recent years.
