Cavanagh is a possible AFL target
Sean Cavanagh of Tyrone
Sean Cavanagh of Tyrone has won two All Star awards
Tyrone midfield star Sean Cavanagh could have the chance to play Aussie Rules football after being approached by the Brisbane Lions.

County manager Mickey Harte confirmed there had been "tentative contact" between the 23-year-old midfielder and a representative of the AFL club.

Harte stressed nothing had been signed and that the move was not definite.

Cavanagh is one of Tyrone's top players and was named GAA young player of the year in 2003.

He also won an All-Ireland medal that year with the Red Hands and picked up the first of his two All Star awards.
