Dublin forward Alan Brogan is out of next month's International Rules series against Australia because of injury. Brogan picked up an ankle injury in Dublin's All-Ireland quarter-final replay defeat by Tyrone and he subsequently had surgery.
Brogan's Dublin team-mate Ciaran Whelan is also out of the Irish squad because his wife is expecting a baby.
Sixteen Ulster players have been included in Peter McGrath's provisional panel for the series.

This year's Tests will be played on 21 and 28 October in Perth and Melbourne.
