Paddy McKeever (right) replaces John McEntee in attack |
Armagh have recalled Paddy McKeever for Sunday's Bank of Ireland Football semi-final against Tyrone. In something of a surprise change, McKeever displaces John McEntee at centre half-forward.
Kieran McGeeney's return to the defence after missing the game against Laois means that Enda McNulty is the unlucky man to drop out of the backs.
McGeeney gets his regular number six shirt while Ciaran McKeever is named at left corner-back.
McNulty has to be regarded as extremely unfortunate to lose his starting place as he has scarcely put a foot wrong this season.
He has invariably performed well on Peter Canavan and there will be suspicions that McNulty could yet start on Sunday if the Errigal Ciaran legend makes the Tyrone starting line-up.
John McEntee has not been at his best in recent matches but Paddy McKeever's inclusion is nevertheless a major talking-point.
Andy Mallon is named at corner-back but he could be the man to mark Tyrone's playmaker Brian McGuigan.
Ulster rivals Tyrone name their team on Thursday night with star forward Canavan in line to get a starting place.
Canavan missed the quarter-final replay success over Dublin on Saturday because of a stomach bug.
