Kerry star Colm Cooper gets past Cork's Kieran O'Connor |
Kerry eased their way into a second successive All-Ireland final when they routed Cork 1-19 to 0-09 on Sunday. Led again by their little maestro Colm Cooper, Kerry ran Cork ragged to go in 0-11 to 0-04 ahead at half-time after the Rebels had taken a two-point lead.
The inventive Cooper scored five points and set up the goal when his shot rebounded off the post in the 41st minute for Eoin Brosnan to tap in.
Mayo will face Down in the Minor final after defeating Kerry 1-12 to 0-14.
