Armagh's Paul McGrane and Ciaran McKeever have been cleared to play in next weekend's All-Ireland Quarter-Final against Laois. On Saturday morning, the GAA's Central Council overturned the bans imposed on the duo after incidents in the Ulster SFC final replay.
The original bans had been imposed by the Central Disciplinary Committee.
McKeever was sent off in the replay win over Tyrone while McGrane was charged with striking an opponent.
It had been expected that the Disputes Resolution Authority would consider their cases on Monday night.
However, it was pointed out to Central Council that they had the authority to deal with the appeal and they ruled that the appeals made on behalf of both Armagh players should be upheld.
Armagh manager Joe Kernan confirmed to BBC that the appeals had been upheld but declined to make further comment as he said he was anxious to receive official confirmation before making any detailed statement.
Defender McKeever was charged with dangerous play after he was dismissed for a second yellow card in the incident involving Peter Canavan in the provincial final replay.
McGrane was not sent off in the replay but was later charged with striking an opponent.
A statement from Croke Park said that the Central Council had noted that McKeever and Paul McGrane had lodged appeals to the DRA.
"In view of the technical and legal points which arose as a result of the Ryan McMenamin case and the advice of the GAA's legal advisors, it was decided unanimously in the circumstances to reinstate both players forthwith and not to pursue these cases," added the statement.
Croke Park added that the technical and legal points referred to would be "addressed as a matter of expediency".
