Connacht booked their place in the Railway Cup Hurling Final in Rome next month by beating Munster 1-20 to 1-16 in Limerick on Saturday.
A Tony Griffin goal helped Munster into a one-point lead at the interval but Conor Hayes' all-Galway side took control in the second half to win the contest.
Connacht will face the winners of Sunday's second semi-final between Ulster and Leinster in the decider in the Eternal City on 8 November.
GAA president Sean Kelly has confirmed the decider will take place at the Giulio Onesti sports complex in the Parioli region of the Italian capital on Sunday 8 November.
It will be the highest profile GAA game ever to be played in continental Europe.
The idea was the brainchild of Noel Walsh, chairman of the Railway Cup task force.
