Bryansford 1-8 Mayobridge 0-9
Shane King starred in Bryansford's win |
Mayobridge lost their Down senior county football title on Sunday as Bryansford celebrated a long-awaited championship success at Newcastle.
Former Fermanagh favourite Shane King was one of the stars for Bryansford as they took the title for the first time since 1977.
'Bridge, going for a hat-trick of titles in the Mourne county, led for the only time midway through the second half when a Francie Poland point nudged them in front.
But then Bryansford broke to the other end for Conor Gribben to grab the only goal of the game.
That was the crucial score which secured the victory and sparked celebrations on Bryansford's home St Patrick's Park pitch.
St Gall's 0-11 Lamh Dhearg 1-8
In the Antrim football final, holders St Gall's have been taken to a replay by Lamh Dhearg after Sunday's draw at Casement Park in Belfast.
St Gall's appeared to be heading for victory but an injury-time goal from Kevin Murray earned the Hannahstown club a second bite.
