Tyrone's Brian Dooher has won the Ulster GAA monthly merit award in recoginition of the county's success in reaching the All-Ireland final.
Dooher, an all-action half-forward, was picked out as an influential performer in Tyrone's semi-final victory over Kerry.
He caught the eye of the Ulster GAA Writers' Association as they selected the award winner for August.
It is the second time the Clan na Gael clubman has picked up the Bass-sponsored prize as he was honoured in June 2001.
Tyrone were able to build up a big first half lead against Kerry in that semi-final.
But Dooher does not believe they will get the chance of repeating the feat when they play reigning All-Ireland champions Armagh in the 28 September final.
"We need to work on our second half performance," said Dooher.
"We died away against Kerry. Hopefully, against Armagh we will keep opur heads and not collapse."
