Michael Laverty (centre) won the first of the two Superbike races

Hilton Hincks claimed the main event at Monday's latest round of the Irish Superbike Championship at Nutts Corner.

The Waterford won the Race of the North with an aggregate score of 45 points from the two races which edged out Michael Laverty (38) and Denvir Robb (29).

In the opening race, Laverty won from Hincks but the Honda rider secured overall victory by winning the second leg ahead of Marty Nutt.

Castlerock rider Nutt did dominate the 600 class, holding off Ryan Rainey in both races with Hincks and Mark Lunney claiming third places.

Robert Dunlop's son William earned a second place in one of the two 125 races where the victories were claimed by John Anderton and Paul Robinson.
