Marty Tabb's Cliftonville will finish in the bottom six in the table |
Cliftonville 0-1 Crusaders
Gerard Rowe's superb late goal settled this mediocre North Belfast derby at Solitude.
Rowe's moment of quality with a glorious overhead kick seven minutes from time was by far the brightest moment in a low-quality contest.
Cliftonville should have taken the lead in the first half but Barry Patton failed to find the target from a pointblank header after a fine Liam Fleming cross.
Things didn't improve much after half-time.
Gavin Arthur hit a long range effort just wide but the match seemed to be heading towards a draw when Rowe produced his moment of magic.
The result means Cliftonville are guaranteed to be involved in the bottom-six when the cut-off happens later this month.
Despite that, Cliftonville are not in any serious relegation trouble as Newry are 10 points adrift at the bottom of the table.
