Devenney boost for Donegal
Donegal star Brendan Devenney
Brendan Devenney will concentrate on his inter-county career
Donegal star Brendan Devenney has committed himself to playing GAA this season.

Devenney has turned down the offer of a two-year contract with Finn Harps to play in the Eircom League.

The 24-year-old forward has juggled both codes for the past two seasons, but due to a new summer format in Irish football, he has had to chose one or the other.

Devenney has at times been under strain and his play affected due to his switching between the codes.

But his return to full-time GAA will be a major boost to new manager Brian McEniff, who has seen his side already relegated from the NFL top tier.
