![]() | Saturday, 18 May, 2002, 15:07 GMT 16:07 UK Lougher wins 125cc ![]() Ian Lougher brought his Honda home in first place Welshman Ian Lougher lifted the first 125cc race at the North West 200 on Saturday in a Honda one-two-three. Lougher had not much luck in the opening two races, but he was in prime condition to take the honours from Chris Palmer. In third place was Callum Ramsay who had quite a tussle with Lougher over the four-lap race. Lougher recorded the fastest speed of 94.987 mph on the fourth lap. The conditions were not the most pleasant when you consider that the lap record stands 101.540 mph.
