![]() | Saturday, 4 May, 2002, 16:38 GMT 17:38 UK Tandragee treble for Archibald ![]() Adrian Archibald won three races at Tandragee Ballymoney rider Adrian Archibald won three classes at the Tandragee 100 road races on Saturday. Archibald also claimed a treble the last time the Tandagree event was staged in 2000. The Red Bull Honda rider got off to the perfect start with victory in the Lambert and Butler Open event, finishing ahead of Ryan Farquhar and Richard Britton. Archibald then took the chequered flag after a thrilling 600cc race before claiming a comfortable win in the Tandragee 100 itself. Unbeaten Archibald also set a course record for Tandragee, clocking a new best of 102.029mph in the day's feature race. Robert Dunlop won the 125cc race while Darren Lindsay was also a winner at the County Armagh venue. |
