The Dunloy star is called into the Saffrons squad for Sunday's NHL Division Two final against Laois in Thurles. O'Kane only resumed training lately following a series of niggling injuries and was not expected to feature in the League shoot-out. However, Antrim skipper Colm McGuckian picked up a hamstring injury and created a space for O'Kane to come in at full-forward. Liam Richmond is also back in harness at centre half-forward with his brother Paddy dropping down to the bench. Manager Dinny Cahill makes another positional switch with Brian McFall at left corner-forward. Otherwise Antrim's rearguard remains the same from the formation that defeated Kerry in the semi-final. Antrim: DD Quinn; M Kettle, K Kelly, E McCloskey, K McKeegan, R Donnelly, C Herron; C Cunning, J Connolly; A Delargy, L Richmond, l Watson, C Cambridge, G O'Kane, B McFall. Inadequate Meanwhile, Cavan's team doctor Phillip Carolan has hit out the GAA's anti-doping procedures which he described as "shocking". Carolan was highly critical of the manner in which two of the Breffni Blues players were shepherded through hoards of supporters from the dressing room to the doping centre which was completely inadequate. "This was my first experience of drug-testing and it was shocking so what must the players have thought of it?" said Carolan. "I'm just beginning to wonder if the Medical Advisory Committee in Croke Park want to educate the players or do they just want to wait and see what happens? "That is my main concern and other team doctors feel exactly the same. ''The lack of information is frightening and I don't want to see some young player's life destroyed because of something he innocently took in a cough bottle." | See also: Other top Northern Ireland stories: Links to more Northern Ireland stories are at the foot of the page. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
