Sebastien Loeb
Sebastien Loeb is in total control of the Rally of Italy
World champion Sebastien Loeb produced a measured display to increase his lead after day two of the Rally of Italy.

The Citroen driver, who led by half a minute overnight, now holds a 55.2-second advantage ahead of title rival Petter Solberg.

The top two are more than two minutes clear of a chasing pack led by Harri Rovanpera and Marcus Gronholm.

Briton Mark Higgins could be set for championship points after moving into sixth in his privately-entered Ford.

The Northern Irishman took the lead on Saturday as his rivals hit trouble.
