Zengota made his Swindon debut in 2010

Swindon Robins rider Greg Zengota will miss the majority of the 2011 Elite League season after breaking his leg.

He suffered the injury in a practice run in his native Poland on Wednesday.

After impressing in his debut British campaign, Zengota's loss will be a major blow for the Abbey Stadium club close to the start of the new term.

Swindon's first fixture is a challenge match on 24 March against Lakeside. Their league season starts against Belle Vue on 4 April.
