Sneddon first re-joined Newcastle in the 2009 season

Newcastle Diamonds have signed rider Derek Sneddon to complete their roster for the 2010 Premier League campaign.

The Falkirk-born 27-year-old joined the Diamonds from Edinburgh for a second spell in 2009 having been with the club in the 2002 season.

Boss George English said: "Derek is as popular with the Geordie fans as the club is with him so we were thrilled when we learned of his availability.

"All the lads know each other so we're off to a head start with team spirit."

Also on the Diamonds roster for the 2010 season are Jason King, Rene Bach and Scottish reserve Adam McKinna, plus Mark Lemon and Kenni Larsen.
