Edinburgh Monarchs made short work of rivals Glasgow Tigers on Friday, with a 50-39 Premier League home win.

Once again, Ryan Fisher was the dominant Monarchs rider, picking up maximum points from his five outings.

The struggling Tigers suffered another defeat on Sunday, going down 47-43 at home to Newcastle Diamonds.

Losses at Kings Lynn, Sheffield and Scunthorpe prior to Fiday's reverse, leave the injury-hit Glasgow team second bottom of the Premier League.
