Johnson also rides for the Isle of Wight in the National League |
Somerset Rebel's Brendan Johnson has won through to the final of the British Under-21 Speedway Championships. A third place finish in Tuesday night's semi-final round on the Isle of Wight was enough to take 16-year-old through to the finals on 24 April. He will now take his place with 15 of the other best young British speedway talent at the Arena Essex Raceway. Johnson has been rewarded with a semi-final slot in the European Under-19 Championships in Hungary next month.
