Brummies after Trophy improvement

Birmingham Brummies

Birmingham Brummies' preparations for the new Premier League season continue with their M6 Trophy clash with Stoke Potters on Saturday (1930 GMT).

The Brummies will be unchanged from the side that lost at Rye House in the Premier Trophy.

"We have a new team packed with young riders and we need them to get as many meetings as possible," said boss Graham Drury ahead of the first leg clash.

"Our supporters will need patience in the early part of the season."

The Potters include former Brummie rider Phil Morris in their line up and Drury will be happy to see him again after Morris's time at Perry Barr in 2008 was cut short by injury.

"It's great to see Phil back in action. I worked very hard to get him a team elsewhere once it was evident we were struggling to include him."

BIRMINGHAM: Robert Ksiezak, Ludvig Lindgren, Jason Lyons, Marek Mroz, Tomasz Piszcz, Richard Sweetman, Ben Taylor.
