Weymouth Wildcats skipper Jon Armstrong will be back after last year's serious leg injuries to lead his team in the 2009 National League campaign.

Lee Smart returns as second heat-leader with James Cockle, Matt Wright, Terry Day, Tim Webster and James White-Williams completing the side.

Wildcats promoter Phil Bartlett said: "It's been hard work trying to build a competitive team.

"But I'm confident there'll be another successful season ahead."

Wildcats won their first Conference League title in October, after demolishing Boston Barracudas in the two-leg play-off final.
