Ross Fisher is on standby if captain Lee Complin is not given clearance to ride in Stoke Potters' two weekend speedway meetings.

Complin, who has been out of action since being injured in a car crash in May, said: "I still haven't heard anything and it's very frustrating.

"I am ready to go and I'd have thought it would have all been sorted by now."

The Potters are due to travel to Berwick on Saturday and then host Redcar at Loomer Road on Sunday.
