Hans Andersen top-scored for the Bees with 13 points against Ipswich

Coventry Bees joint-manager Peter Oakes said his riders' showing in a 45-45 draw against Ipswich in the Elite League on Monday left him "breathless".

Hans Andersen top scored with 13, while Chris Harris and Olly Allen put in good displays with 11 and 10 respectively in an entertaining night at Brandon.

"It left us all breathless, and it was a tremendous advert for the sport," Oakes told BBC Coventry & Warwickshire.

The Bees now travel to Belle Vue on 1 September for thier next fixture.
