Andreas Jonsson took rode to another maximum score

Lakeside Hammers moved up to second in the Elite League with a 56-37 home win over the Coventry Bees.

Once again, Andreas Jonsson led the Hammers' charge with an unbeaten five-race haul and captain Adam Shields took two wins on his way to 11 points.

Rory Schlein was the pick of the Bees riders, a winning tactical ride helping him to 15 points on the night.

The win lifts the Hammers to within four points of leaders Poole Pirates, and with three matches in hand.
