Coventry Bees eased their relegation worries with a 48-42 home victory over Peterborough Panthers in the Elite League on Monday. In-form Simon Stead top-scored for Bees with 12 plus one with only Andreas Messing failing to register any points. The victory means Coventry moved three points clear of Panthers in the league and have closed the gap on sixth-placed Belle Vue. Bees next ride at Lakeside Hammers on Wednesday, 30 July.
