Lindgren suffered a bad crash in Copenhagen two weeks ago

Freddie Lindgren has said he is prepared to ride through the pain of his rib injury to try and help Wolves out of their current slump.

Lindgren has missed the last two weeks after falling in the Danish Grand Prix but wants to face Elite League leaders Swindon on Thursday.

"I'm still far from 100% but I think I can ride effectively and help out Wolverhampton," Lindgren said.

"I want to be ready for the British Grand Prix on Saturday."

Wolves are bottom of the table and have won just two of their last nine Elite League meetings.

Thursday's clash with in-form Swindon could be the last meeting before promoters Chris Van Straaten and Peter Adams look at making changes to the squad.

The team building averages come into effect on 1 July.
