Kylmakorpi took one of Hammers few wins before his crash

An injury to Joonas Kylmakorpi ended a bad night for the Lakeside Hammers that saw them lose to the Eastbourne Eagles.

The visitors went down 53-39 at the Arlington Raceway, with poor starts limiting the Hammers to just four wins.

Eagles' Scott Nicholls, Lewis Bridger, Lee Richardson and Edward Kennett all rode to double figure scores, with Adam Shields the pick of the Essex side.

Finn Kylmakorpi suffered a dislocated shoulder following a crash with Cameron Woodward in the 14th heat.
