Newcastle Diamonds new signing Ben Powell has told the club's supporters he is delighted to be riding in the North East. Having ridden for the likes of Weymouth, Sheffield and Coventry Powell now feels he has found a home at last.
He told BBC Radio Newcastle: "I like the professionalism of everyone organising things here at Newcastle.
"It's different to the southern end of the country as it's more friendly. It's nice up there."
