Stoke Potters have completed their 2008 line-up by handing the number seven berth to Buzz Burrows. Burrows has plied his trade in the Conference League for several seasons with Wimbledon and Cleveland.
Stoke Speedway promoter Dave Tattum is confident the 43-year-old can bridge the gap.
He told BBC Radio Stoke: "Buzz is a very competent rider and will add some experienced qualities to the side, as well as do a job for us on the track."
