British Speedway Grand Prix champion Chris Harris has won the BBC South West Sports Personality of the Year award. The Cornishman, who rides for Coventry Bees, also beat Guernsey's three-time world touring car champion Andy Priaulx in the motorsport category.
Among the other winners were Truro City, Yeovil keeper Steve Mildenhall, Somerset cricketer Andy Caddick and yachtsman Sir Robin Knox-Johnston.
Plymouth Raiders coach Gary Stronach was given a lifetime achievement award.
