Coventry Bees duo Scott Nicholls and Chris Harris preserved their places in the top eight after the latest round of the Speedway Grand Prix. Nicki Pedersen won the world title for the second time in his career after victory in the penultimate meeting of the season in Slovenia on Saturday.
Nicholls scored 16 points, seven behind Pedersen, while Harris scored eight.
Eastbourne's Pedersen romped to victory to secure the crown after a season-long battle with Swindon's Leigh Adams.
