| Billy Hamill was in fine form as he helped Wolverhampton beat Arena-Essex Hammers 52-38 at Monmore Green. Wolves went into Monday's meeting without David Howe, who broke his collarbone on Saturday. It was a solid team performance from Peter Adams's riders but it was Hamill who stole the show with a 14+1 haul. The Californian former world champion received good support from skipper Peter Karlsson and Freddie Lindgren, who both scored 11+1.
