Bridger lives up to top billing | | Eastbourne's Lewis Bridger, the pre-meeting favourite, secured the British Under-18 Championship with maximum points at Wolverhampton. The Eagles rider had to come from the back on two occasions but was easily the fastest competitor on show. Scunthorpe's Tai Woffinden dropped his only point to Bridger in Heat 11 to finish second overall. Ben Barker took third place after defeating former Wolf Cub Jack Hargreaves in a run-off.
