Chaz Davies is confident ahead of Donington Park test
Chaz Davies is in his second season in the World Supersport series
Herefordshire motorcyclist Chaz Davies is looking to make home advantage count when the World Supersport Series comes to Donington Park on Sunday 27 March.
Davies is confident his Yamaha team can be competitive this season.
He told BBC Hereford and Worcester: "I have a chance to win at every race this season so I am really excited and looking forward to getting out there.
"Donington is an especially good track for me as I won the last race I did there in the British Championship."
While the first race of the new World Supersport Championship at Phillip Island in Australia ended in frustration for Davies he is confident things will improve.
"We were going OK in Australia but I wasn't really happy with the set up and I made mistakes over the weekend," he said.
"It was our first proper weekend with Yamaha and realistically before the race I had had only about five hours of track time on the bike.
"It took a while to get used to it and then in the race I realised how many mistakes I had made in the set up," he added.

Despite the technical issues Davies was still challenging for a podium finish in that season opener until a late puncture ended his hopes.
In the month since Phillip Island, Davies and his team have been working hard to iron out the problems experienced in Australia.
After the late switch from Triumph to Yamaha during the winter, Davies admits it was always going to be difficult to be competitive from the very start but he says the past four weeks mean he is now much more confident.
"We go to Donington this weekend and I pretty know what set up we are going to be using first session on Friday morning," he said.
"As soon as I stepped off the bike in Australia if we would have had the race again I knew exactly what I would have changed.
"Five minutes later we could have made just a couple of changes and I could have gone back out there and probably would have gone a lot faster.
"Having a month off is nice but I never like it right at the start of the season - I just want to get off with it.
"You build yourself up for the first race as you have been off the bike for five months all winter and then the next thing you have to go and sit at home for four weeks.
"I am chomping at the bit a little bit so am looking forward to getting out there again this weekend."
The second round of the World Supersport Championship at Donington Park will take place on Sunday, 27 March.
