The final two MotoGP races of the 2010 season will be broadcast in high definition on the BBC HD Channel. The races at Estoril in Portugal on 31 October and Valencia in Spain on 7 November are to be shown in HD as a trial run for sport on the channel. Spanish rider Jorge Lorenzo has already been crowned MotoGP world champion for 2010 with the two races remaining. BBC HD will run alongside the BBC One HD channel which launches on 3 November and is available on all HD platforms. Jorge Lorenzo has already been crowned 2010 MotoGP champion, but the battle behind the Spaniard is still very much alive, with Dani Pedrosa, Casey Stoner and Valentino Rossi all vying for second spot.
