William Dunlop won the 250cc race at Athea

Ryan Farquhar took victories in the Open race and Grand Final events at the Athea road races on Sunday.

Farquhar set a new lap record for the County Limerick circuit in beating Scot Keith Amor in the Grand Final race.

Wilson Craig Honda rider Amor, who was making his debut at the course, continued his good 600cc form this season by winning the Supersport race.

William Dunlop marked his return to road racing with a success in the 250cc race.

The next road race action will be at Skerries on Saturday 5 July.
