Chief Constable Mike Langdon will be the chief marshal for TT 2008 |
Isle of Man Chief Constable Mike Langdon has been named as chief marshal for TT 2008. The announcement was made by Tourism Minister Adrian Earnshaw during Tuesday's House of Keys sitting questions session. Earnshaw said: "I am personally very pleased with this appointment. "It sends out a very strong message of the good relationship between the race organisers, the Department of Tourism and Leisure and the police." Langdon replaces Roger Hurst, who resigned after criticism from coroner Michael Moyle at the end of the inquest into the three deaths at the 26th milestone during last year's Senior TT.
