McDougall and Rea ready to race

Motorbikes

Pat McDougall and Gino Rea are preparing ahead of the start of their motorbike seasons this weekend.

Both youngsters have told BBC London 94.9 they love the adrenaline when they ride up to speeds of 170mph.

The 22-year-old said: "I love the danger side of it, it makes me feel alive. It's just a great buzz. It's a way of life."

McDougall is preparing for the first round of the British Supersport Cup Championship at Brands Hatch on Sunday.

Meanwhile fellow Beowolf rider Rea also starts his season this weekend, racing in Valencia at the European Superstock 600 Championship on Friday.

Rea added: "I started on motocross which obviously involves big jumps and mud but when I switched over to the road racing I liked the high speeds and adrenaline rush."
