Lincolnshire motocross rider Christian Lyth has moved up to the 125cc class two years ahead of schedule. The 14-year-old from Sleaford has secured the switch after a series of good results at 85cc.
The Motocross Federation invited Lyth to attend an assessment day after which they gave him a licence.
Riding a Suzuki bike, Lyth came ninth overall in his new class at the first round of the Cambridge Club Motocross championship.
