The date was announced by the organising Coleraine Club after the publication of the provisional calendar for the British Superbike championship.

Mondello Park has not been included in the list of British championship venues for the first time in several years.

The Irish circuit may yet host an event with sizeable prize money the weekend prior to the North West if sufficient interest is shown by riders and teams.
