Kevin Strijbos claimed a victory and a second place finish in Sunday's Motocross Prix of Northern Ireland at the new Moneyglass Demesne. The Belgian rider won the first MX1 Grand Prix race in front of 18,500 spectators and finished behind Ken De Dycker in the second race.
MX1 series leader Josh Coppins missed the event with a shoulder injury.
Tony Cairoli from Italy secured the MX2 title after winning both heats at a sunny Moneyglass track.
